Our membership is perfect for independent ceramic artists seeking a creative space with full access and no hidden costs.

One-time registration fee

As a member, you'll have:

Access to the studio outside of scheduled class times. To ensure availability and avoid overlapping use, we recommend checking the calendar and reserving a time in advance.
Exclusive after-hours access. to the studio beyond standard operation hours (available to experienced members upon approval). Members interested in after-hours access may request approval through a short orientation or skills check.
A personal shelf to store your works and materials
Use of studio glazes at no extra cost
Firing included—no additional firing fees beyond the membership (Bisque and Cone 6 Firings only)

Looking to enjoy studio time without committing to a full membership? Our Open Studio Access is a flexible, pay-as-you-go option designed for independent artists who want to work at their own pace.

Whether you're currently enrolled in a class or not, this program offers access to a fully equipped ceramics studio—perfect for anyone looking to create, explore, and grow their skills.

Use of glazes and kiln firings
Clean, inspiring workspace

Clay is not included but can be purchased from the studio for an additional fee. We recommend bringing your own apron and towel for personal use.

No walk-ins— reservations are required to ensure space and safety

Please note: Visitors who are not currently enrolled in a class must have prior experience and be able to work independently in the studio.

Explore the Art of Ceramics

At Clay and Kiln, we offer handbuilding and wheel-throwing classes for all skill levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced ceramic artist looking to refine your techniques, our classes provide a welcoming and inspiring space to learn, create, and grow.

Wheel Throwing

8-week session

Members$350

Wheel throwing is the art of shaping clay on a pottery wheel. In this class, students will learn foundational techniques such as centering, pulling, trimming, and finishing. With step by step guidance from our experienced instructors, you'll gain confidence and control on the wheel, allowing you to create beautiful, functional ceramics.

Classes are held once a week for 8 weeks, each session lasting 3 hours
Maximum of 8 students per class
Taught by a dedicated and experienced ceramics instructor

Who Can Join?

Classes are open to students 15 and up

Missed a Class?

We do not offer make-up sessions for missed classes. However, students who miss a session are encouraged to attend Open Studio to catch up.

Classes with fewer than four students may be canceled. If a class is canceled, students can either transfer to another class or receive a full refund.
