Try It Class – Give the Wheel a Spin!
Details
- Class size: Max. 8 students
- Ages: 18 and up
- Duration: ~2 hours
- Skill level: No experience needed
Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a quirky date night activity (basset hounds not recommended, but we love the energy).
Curious about pottery but not ready to commit to a full course? Come get your hands dirty and try your hand at the wheel in our Try It Class, held on the second Friday of each month at 6:00 PM.
For $90, you'll get:
- Your own potter's wheel
- Clay and tools provided
- A fun and friendly instructor
- Around two hours of hands-on experience
Whether you fall in love with the wheel or just come for the laughs, you're guaranteed to have a good time. It may look simple, but wheel throwing has a way of humbling even the most confident hands. Either way, it's a muddy adventure worth taking!

We've got the clay, tools, and materials covered — just come in comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a little messy. Tie back long hair and bring an apron or a small towel if you'd like!
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. The class moves quickly, and we begin with a demo right at 6:00 PM — it's tough to jump in late!
Keep in Mind
Since you'll be working with wet clay and not completing the full pottery process, there won't be a finished piece to take home — but you will leave with new memories and maybe a bit of clay under your fingernails. Worth it!

Handbuilding Workshops – Create Together
Details
- Class size: 4 to 8 people
- $110 per participant
- Includes all materials, instruction, glazing, and firing.
Join one of our themed handbuilding workshops, designed for small groups of 4 to 8 people. These one-time sessions are perfect for friends, families, or coworkers looking to get creative together — no experience needed!
Each workshop focuses on a unique, guided project (such as mugs, vases, or seasonal items), led by an experienced instructor who will walk your group through every step. Participants will pre-select glaze colors, and once your creations are complete, we'll take care of the glazing and firing process for you.
Handbuilding workshops are offered as private sessions only and are scheduled upon request.
